"Two Twenty-somethings Making the World a Better Place" -Philip Katz
Jaymie Lanera lives in Westchester, New York. She is an energetic twenty something, single mom and NGO founder. That’s right Jaymie recently founded “ELF(Elisa Lanera Foundation) Helps Africa” a Non Governmental Organization whose mission it is to help the people of Africa.
Jaymie, with the help of her trusted associate and, “ELF Helps Africa” co-founder Kristen Collins, uses the latest technology along with more traditional methods to fund raise for the many worthwhile initiatives she has planned to implement in the area of literacy and education. From organizing events like this weekend’s “Polar Bear Plunge” to their “ELF Helps Africa” Gear available online, they tirelessly work to fulfill their dreams of helping others help themselves. Jaymie and Kristen dedicate their selfless efforts to the loving memory of Jaymie’s Mother Elisa, who was taken far too early in life, by a drunk driver.
